Accessing file properties displayed in Windows Explorer

Subject:Accessing file properties displayed in Windows Explorer

Hi,

In Windows Explorer when the mouse is hovered over a file icon in the list
view, a yellow  information window pops up displaying various properties of
the file. Some of the properties are basic file properties like file size,
whilst others will have been generated by the application that created the
file. For example, in the case of a digital photograph, the properties
usually include the camera model and the shooting date.  In the case of MS
Office applications, the properties may be entered by the user using the
File/Properties view, and include author and subject.

How can these file properties, particularly the application generated ones,
be accessed in Win32 Delphi?

Thanks to anyone that can provide pointers to this.
