Hello there,
I am not sure if this is the right group, but I am wanting to find a way to
be able to map a name to either the loopback address 127.0.0.1 or localhost.
I know its possible, because Windows does it. For example, if my computer
name is called client and I am running a web server locally on my computer
and I type client into the web browser it will open the page via the local
web server.
Is there an api that allows me to do this that will work in both XP and of
course Vista ?
