Greetings,
I tried this on ..\multimedia with no response, so I thought I would
try here.
Has anyone knowledge of how to alert an application is a user presses
the mute button? Is there a msg to trap or is it done on the hardware
level? I have an IBM thinkpad (one of the last) that has a mute button
that only mutes the volume, to restore the volume one must press an up
or down volume button. I also have a Dell that behaves differently,
the mute button toggles the sound on/off.
My intent is to have the MP3 player pause when the volume
is muted and resume when the sound is restored. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Bill
