Dispaying File Version Info

I trust I am in the right group, if not please advise.

Using D7.

I want to read Fileversion info as entered in the Project/Options and
display this on the Main Form of the project.

I have tried this using calls to GetFileVersionInfo and VerQueryValue
with no success. I tried using the code in help but no values are being
returned.

Help or sample code appreciated
