Hello folks!
I've written a little program which creates partition entries and formats
the drive (mostly used on compact flash
cards which were inside an external recorder and ripped out from there which
sometimes causes the compact
flash card damaging the boot and partition sector).
All works fine but for one compact flash card I always get the message 'Card
not formated' after putting it out
of a recorder (which also does some preformatting with the CF card) and
formatting it with my tool.
BUT! After recorder, formatting with my tool, removing and inserting the CF
card again from and to the computer the
windows finds the filesystem Ok.
Also if I choose to format the card using the windows gui I can format and
partition the CF using my tool without a
problem!
So is there some commands around which do something like flush (cause I
think windows holds some data
in the cache) or has anybody some other suggestions?
kind regards
Mike
