Maybe this question is rather common and frequent, but...
When I use CB_ADDSTRING message to add an item into combo box, its drop-down
list box is completely empty, though all items actually exist - they can be
selected with keyboard or mouse wheel.
The problem is solved by adding a manifest to application, i.e. in Windows
XP or later. But earlier systems still have this problem.
None of the libraries I searched answered this question, though it is an
'ancient' question.
