How to check if a specific printer is Physically connected to a computer

Hey all,

I have with interest read the previously message "How to get the Printer
Status?...". Currently I am in the situation that one of our customers need
for printing to different printers depending on the actual location (at
work, at home, ...) He has a laptop from which he need to print to one
printer at work and to another printer at home - so my question is: Howto
get the program test for those printers availability and automatically print
to the right printer independant on which printer connected - without queing
the printjob?
