Running program after I closed my program

Hi there,

is there a solution in the subject meand question?

I want to make an update for my file, so I have to close my program
first and then start the update program, how should I start to make it real?

I though, I start my update program and wait with a timer  till my main
program runs (is to find) in the running processes, is there maybe a
better solution, too - or how to start looking to my main program in the
running processe?
