Hey everyone,
How do peer to peer programs such as napster, limewire, gnutella etc set
up file transfers with each other from behind firewalls?
The reason I ask is that I am trying to write an application that will
transfer files between 2 clients.
At the moment I am using a central server to act as a proxy to get
around firewall issues, but with a large numbers of users bandwidth on
the central server would be a bottleneck. So if I could use whatever
method the above programs are using that would be helpful as then the
server would only have to worry about coordinating IP addresses.
Any ideas how to do this in delphi?
