Why can't the snapshot just be announced as the current stable version
Remy? - It'll only take me a few minutes to adjust the wording on the site
and it would certainly avoid a lot of confusion. Lets face it, you recommend
the latest snapshot to everyone so why are we still recommending .18 on the
site as the proper version?

Actually that was supposed to me myself (I took over when Leo backed out)
but my time is lacking these days so I haven't had much chance to do much
with the site - just the odd few wording changes over the last year or so.

Yep... time is lacking in my life at the moment...

Well why the heck can't this be changed? - You no longer actively work on it
except for the odd bug fix so why can't the snapshot now be the offical
latest release? - It would be so much less confusing for people and at least
they would stop poking at me when they download the old version.
If you pit crew guys approve the idea I can make changes to the site to
reflect this..

So why are we still offering ti?

But why must people come here to be told this again and again? - Just let me
make the snapshot the latest release on the site and that will solve the old
version problem for good.
