Sorry, I thought that the subject line was enough.

I want to idle the TCP server while ensuring that any current operations
complete.

So I'd like to be able to refuse new connections. You said that isn't really
possible, so what do people do in real life?

If I just set the TCPServer.Active property to false will that do it?
