Thanks but I'm not finding an official release of Indy VCL 10.1.6.
http://www.indyproject.org is a mess! Many links there are either dead or
link to www.atozed.com, which is a similar mess.
I found links on http://www.indyproject.org to download Indy VCL with
automatic install but that also links back to www.atozed.com, or link to a
download the source code of version 10.0.52, or link to mirrors for a
development snapshot that cautions:
"Warning You are being warned. This will provide you with a direct link
into our current development files. At various times the files may not
compile, or in some cases may cause strange errors. Use at your own risk!"
Meanwhile one of the mirrors, ftp://neillans.co.uk/, is down!
I do not see any reference to a 10.1.6 release. My problem with receiving a
401 message on subsequent IdHTTP.Get() calls with different URLs and
authorization occurs in both the Indy versions that shipped with D7, the
10.1.5 version from the Indy Automatic Install (installed in D7), and the
version that ships with Turbo Delphi Explorer (non component use - only in
Uses clause). I think it's likely that my problem is in the code I wrote.
I'll bundle it up and post it to another message later today.
