Fair do's - I'll consider upgrading - In your opinion which one is really
the best to use? - 9 or 10? (win32 VCL)

True, I did get V10 working in D2005 for .NET (thought I couldn't get the
.NET ability of Indy to work at all) and there were some things I liked but
for me it didn't justify the agro of getting it all working in the first
place.

Thats obviously fair enough and I respect that. It would just be nice if
they would at least zip one fairly stable version temporarily instead of
offering live files which get tinkered with all the time.

Sory but no I don't. You have previously stated that you do not have the
source for V8 so I'm curious why you think I do have ReadTimeOut. It is not
there. I don't know how else I can say it. Would you like a screen capture
of the available options Delphi provides after the '.' ?
