Use the current Indy 9.0.50 snapshot, or the current Indy 10.1.5 snapshot.

You are going to ignore all of the enhancements and features that Indy 10
brings, just because there aren't any demos?  That is not very good
thinking.  There is documentation available for Indy 10, at least, and most
Indy 9 operations convert to Indy 10 with little changes.
