Hello all,
I'd like to know if it is possible to bind a TCP server socket to the
"loopback"
address (127.0.0.1) only.
The reason:
I'd like to deploy an (Intraweb) web server applet that runs from CD and
starts the user's web browser, and I don't want any firewall issues
(the user may not have administrator rights anyway).

(In order to reply per e-mail, please just remove the ".net"
from my e-mail address. Leave the rest of the address intact
including the "antispam" part. I had to take this measure to
counteract unsollicited mail.)
