We downloaded the Indy 10 FTP demo and tried to run it under BDS 2006.
It does not connect and run but gets an error. We had two D7 programs
running using the Indy 9 TIdFTP component. We recompiled one under D7
with Indy 10 components and it quit running. We are afraid to recompile
the other because we need it to keep running.
We are trying to get the first one to run again and thought we would try
the vanilla BDS 2006 (out of the box) with the included Indy 10
components. That did not work. Then we tried downloading the Indy 10
demo. That did not work.
Are there free Delphi components for FTP that we can rely on to work?
Or even a set of FTP libraries? We just didn't want to have to drop
back to the basic sockets and create our own.
