Does anybody know, how reliably to get Web-site information like country and
registration date by the site domain name? Is it possible to get such
information if only site IP-address is known?
I tried to do it using the so called WHOIS service, but all such services
are rather unfriendly and stupid - they restrict the number of requests per
minute, each return information in its own format, the returned data have
irregular structure, which is hard to parse reliably, and finally they don't
know much (one knows what is "rsdn.ru", but doesn't know, what is
"microsoft.com"; the other knows, what is "microsoft.com", but doesn't know
what is "borland.com").
