I'm basically trying to figure the best method or best practice.
Here is the situation:
The National Hurricane Center has the ability to email text advisories to anyone who signs up (enter the email address and your done).
I want my program to be able to log into my server and download the email messages, but not delete them from the server. So all users of my app would use the same email address to get the updated information through the pop account.
Is this possible with Indy POP component? If so, am I going about this setup the wrong way? (having all users with the same email account)? Are there any issue with many people logging in at the same time to the same account to get the email data?
Thanks for any advice or suggestions you have on this topic. I would like to migrate from my existing Internet components to Indy, but I want to make sure that what I'm trying to do is within the relm of possibilities.
