I have a Delphi application (internet download program) that uses CleverComponents internet suite ver 5. When my application is used on a computer with Win XP Service Pack 2, the program will not start without errors, then XP shuts it down and asks to send a report to Microsoft. To get around this issue, I have to right click on the icon (shortcut) and select properties. Then go to the Compatibility Tab and run the program under Windows 2000 compatibility.
At this point, I’m not sure if it is my code in the program or something related to CleverComponents. My question is, have you heard of this behavior before with Windows XP SP 2 and internet downloading related programs?
