Hello all,
I'm getting ready to build a simple download program. One of the things I need is the ablility to work with a proxy.
After looking at the component, it seems straigh forward enough, but the 1 question I have is how do you know which kind of authentication is needed. Is there a way to "test" the proxy server to know if it is basic, NTLM, or other?
Also, is there any other considerations that I should be thinking about with regards to proxies or anything else. I've searched this news group, and google, and didn't find anything about detecting authentication types or how to implement this.
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks!
Bryan
