GETTING USER MAIL ACCOUNT INFO

I'm using a simple smtp control to send email in my application.  Most of my
users have a great deal of trouble determining such matters as userID, Mail
account name, etc.  Where is this kind of data stored - Registry, Docs and
setting, Ini file????
