An Out of Computer Experience

I don't have a clue as to what happened to my computer this weekend.

I attempted to rejuvenated my Windows95, by re-installing a copy of
Windows95 which I bought for $1.00.

Everything STOPPED working.  Looked like I had lost everything, since I
had elected to write over some newer DLL versions.  Then I deleted IE v
5.0, and installed IE v 4.0 since IE was NOT working at all.  Programs
that had stopped working, started all of a sudden to work again.  Then
I attempted to install my ISP, and the last step in the registration
processing refused to work properly.  Then a file folder called Recycle
started to grow and grow.  I couldn't delete it, because it was a
system file???

Then I turned off the Recycle Bin.  I was able to finally delete that
super big Recycle folder.  And, then my ISP install finally worked.

Now, I have a perfectly working copy of Windows95 along with IE v 5.5
since the ISP software automatically copied over IE v 4.0.

What happened?  I don't have a clue.  Other than that my rejuvenation
plans turned out to have worked a lot better than expected.  All the
bugs that I was experiencing have disappeared from Windows95, IE, and
my ISP.  I even ended up with an upgrade to my copy of IE. :)

I am back on the Internet, with a better than ever junk computer.  It
just took a lot longer than expected. :(
