I've read, and very occasionally contributed to this group. One of the
issues that repeatedly comes up is people want good search engine
ranking reports, and also to understand where their users are coming
from.
Until now, I haven't been able to say much, but the website for
www.enquisite.com went live today. Enquisite is a free search metrics
reporting tool. It gives you a ranking report which operates
passively, and does not violate the search engine's Terms of Use. The
reports allow you to better understand where users are coming from, and
how users from Google differ from users from other engines, all at a
glance. The reports also give you a lot more.
It's not another web analytics tool - there's tons of those. It's a
search metrics tool. We're unlocking search trends for you, our users.
It's a free tool; many people here have posted asking for such a tool.
I thought I would take an opportunity to let you all know about it. I
hope you don't mind.
The next phase in Enquisite's development are user driven. Please join
the community and tell us what you need to see. We'll be posting the
list of development tasks, and adding to it based on user feedback.
