[ Please let me know if there is a better place to post this, but I do see
adwords discussions here occasionally]

Is the rate at which Google shows impressions on an ad in the search network
affected by whether or not you also run the ad in the content network?

I concluded a study on my site recently that found clicks from the Content
network had significantly poorer end-sales results then ads thru the Search
network.

I disabled all my ads on the content network. As expected, content clicks
dropped to zero and search clicks continued as before.

About a week later I got an email from Google inviting me to re-enable my
ads on the content network. I didn't. Immediately therafter my search
impressions and clicks dropped by about one-half, and have stayed that way
the last week.

I have made no other changes in my advertising campaign.

Co-incidence? Something else?

Thanks,
