Hello,
I have a new primary landing page on usability at
www.usernomics.com/usability.html where there are about 125 outgoing links.
I have optimized for the single word "usability."
I know the official maximum is under 100 but I have a couple of questions to
determine if it is worth splitting them up and doing a continuation page.
If you have more than 100 links does it hurt your SERPs or does Google just
not read the bottom of the page?
Do internal links count toward the total number of links on the page in
terms of reaching the 100 limit?
Do you think that splitting up the links is an absolute must from a SERPs
viewpoint?
Do you think that the fewer links on the page the better so that two pages
with 50/50 would be better than two pages with 75/25.
Thanks a lot,
Bob
