My site is not yet fully listed on Google. (www.silicasphere.com).
When you do a search for "silicasphere" on Google, all that is returned
is a link to the site, with no additional information (ie. a title and
description).
My site is fully listed on MSN and a short while ago I followed the
advice given in the general forum, which was (a) get external links to
my site and (b) prepare a sitemap for my site. I have now duly done
both of these things (I am a member of a number of other forum and I
have appended a link to my site in all my posts on those forums - I
have a lot of posts in one particular forum). I have also included a
fully-qualified and linked sitemap with my site.
I notice that my site has been google-botted since I made these changes
and it ***STILL*** isn't being displayed correctly when a Google search
is performed! Indeed, my posts containng the link to the site seem to
actually outrank the site itself in the search results!!!!!!!
I'm a little bewildered here .... any help will be gratefully received!
